Customer Review: easel stand broke with first use- but backdrop fabric is wonderful

I loved the backdrop fabrics- the silver is amazing, beautiful and reflective. The black/white fabric is nice and thick. The case itself: the easel stand attached to the back with cheap weak grommets broke RIGHT AWAY. I ended up propping the case against something else to finish the shoot. My husband devised a better design and reattached the easel using thin metal stabilizing plates. Now I see why this is a reduced price item, here and on Sharpics website - they know they screwed up.
Had I paid full price I would resent this design, but the lower price was worth the value of the rest of the product that did work: a decent carrying case, clips for easy backdrop changes and nice quality backdrops. Don't get this if you will be mad when the easel stand breaks; it will right away. But at the reduced price this is being sold for now, it's actually worth it and is easily fixed if you are handy.
